Musango
Safari Camp is an exclusive 16-bedded camp, ideal for a relaxing holiday.
Under thatch, the large luxurious safari tents each have en-suite bathrooms
built out of natural stone. The
frontal verandahs offer panoramic views across the lake, of the Matusadona
National Park and mountains. The swimming pool area and the bar / lounge
platform offers an excellent place in which to relax and view game during
the heat of the day |

| Accommodation is in comfortably furnished large safari tents, set under cool
thatch, each with stone-built en-suite bathroom. The central building is a double storey
traditional thatched structure that provides a home for the dining room, lounge, bar,
viewing platform and a shaded swimming pool with commanding views of the lake. |

| In keeping with Musango Safari
Camp’s famous reputation, we are pleased to offer the Maronga
Tented Camp situated on the Maronga River, tucked well into the
Matusadona National Park at the top end of the Ume River. Gus and Sandy
Alexander are proud to be your guide and hostess for yet another season at
Maronga. Backed up by four staff, they will ensure your every need
is catered for. Access can either be
from Musango Safari Camp by aircraft, boat or safari vehicle. |

Musango is a C.A.M.P.F.I.R.E.
Project - and as such is in partnership with the local Omay Community. Thus, a share of
the benefits of tourism and conservation activities are channeled directly back into
community development projects. Also available are two tented bush
camps for private hire by families or small groups, with a full range of activities and an
exclusive guide and staff provided. |

Your hosts, Steve Edwards, a professional guide, Wendy, Steve's wife and
their team are there to take you walking, driving, game viewing by boat, canoeing, fishing
or on a village tour. A typical day at Musango will involve the pleasures of the dawn
breaking, exciting activities, delicious meals and Kariba's famous sunsets, before the
campfire stories begin... |
