"Wings Over Northern Botswana and Vic Falls"
(Using Premier Safari Camps 12 Days)

This safari explores three contrasting areas in the Okavango and Linyanti and finishes with two nights in Victoria Falls.   Departures are daily.

All accommodation, twice daily game activities at the camps, all inter camp transfers by air and the road transfer from Kasane to Victoria Falls are included.

All meals at the camps and breakfast in Victoria Falls are included.

Days 1, 2 and 3:

On arrival in Maun, guests are met by a Wilderness Safaris representative and transferred to the charter aircraft for the flight into their first camp - Jao or Vumbura Camp.

Vumbura Camp is situated to the east of Duba Plains in the neighboring northern concession area of the Okavango Delta. It borders onto the Moremi Reserve.

Vumbura can offer both water and land activities as this area has scenic waterways and is also close to the Okavango's outermost dry sandveld and open savannas.

Accommodation reserved for 3 nights including all meals, park fees, activities and drinks (except premium imports).

Days 4, 5 and 6:

Scheduled light air transfer from Jao to Mombo / Little Mombo Camp. Accommodation reserved for 3 nights including all meals, park fees, activities and drinks (except premium imports).

The design of the new Mombo is radically different from the old Mombo while still retaining its tented charm. The camp has a total of 12 identical guest rooms divided into two distinct and independent camps.

Mombo has 9 rooms and Little Mombo has 3 rooms. Each tented room is raised off the ground offering great views over the floodplains. The new rooms have a tented camp feel, but are luxuriously appointed.

The bathrooms are en suite, including an indoor shower with hot and cold running water. There is also an outdoor shower. The main living area is under thatch and canvas. There are pools at both camps. We will have raised walkways to link bedrooms and the living area. Mombo Camp & Little Mombo have a "kgotla" or boma for outdoor dining under the stars.

Days 7, 8 and 9 (The Linyanti or Savuti)

Scheduled light air transfer from Mombo / Little Mombo to Kings Pool Camp. Accommodation reserved for 3 nights including all meals, park fees, activities and drinks (except premium imports).

Each of the new bedrooms has its own large bedroom area, lounge, private plunge pool and sala. Each en suite bathroom has a shower, hand basin and a separate flush toilet. There is an outdoor shower too for those who prefer to be closer to Africa.

Each room is built on a raised deck with wonderful views onto the Kings Pool Lagoon and its wildlife. The tents have been designed to ensure that each guest is totally comfortable and private, while at the same time offering all the atmosphere of a tent camp in Africa. Each bathroom is tiled and has a shower, toilet and hand basin. There are outside showers, too.

Days 10 and 11 (Victoria Falls)

Scheduled light air transfer from Kings Pool to Kasane Airport , and connect with a scheduled  light air transfer form Kasane to Livingstone Airport. Schedule road transfer from Livingstone Airport to the River Club. Accommodation for 2 nights including all meals, park fees, activities and drinks (except premium imports).

The River Club is situated on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River, 18 kilometers upstream from Victoria Falls. It faces westward into the sunset and onto the Zambezi National Park on the opposite side of the river.

The River Club is set among the lush riverine vegetation and the camp has a distinct Edwardian flavor. Guests here can enjoy the sights and sounds of Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River in a peaceful and tranquil setting away from the crowds. Although The River Club is not a game lodge, the Zambezi National Park is located just across the river, and Lion calls can often be heard at night. Rich birdlife is found in the area. Hippo are regularly sighted (and heard) along the river's edge. Fishing is good, with Tiger fishing featuring prominently in the warmer months. Birding in and around the lodge is superb.

Day 12: Safari ends.

The safari ends after breakfast with your transfer from your hotel or lodge to the airport.
